Memority certified AirCyber Gold

On October 30, we were awarded AirCyber Gold certification by BoostAeroSpace, following an audit by Advens, the Maturity Assessor we selected. What makes this certification particularly remarkable is that Memority is currently the only software publisher to hold the Gold level.

AirCyber: securing an entire industry

AirCyber is a program created in 2019 by BoostAeroSpace, an entity founded by Airbus, Dassault Aviation, Safran and Thales. Its aim? To raise the level of cybersecurity across the entire aerospace supply chain. The program now has over 430 members, and offers three levels of certification: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Our audit covered some 194 questions, including an extended section specific to software product suppliers.

An exceptional position

The statistics speak for themselves: of the 430+ members now in the AirCyber program:

  • Approximately 33% have achieved the Bronze level
  • 20% Silver level
  • Only 6% have reached Gold level.

So we're joining some twenty companies, positioned at the same level as the sector's major principals.

The audit carried out by Advens validated our compliance with the most stringent requirements of the standard. We can also praise the ability of this maturity assessor to adapt to our full Cloud environment, which is highly unusual among companies in the aeronautics ecosystem.

The assessor particularly underlined the quality of our safety management system and associated documentation, as well as our transparency and the perfect alignment between what we announce to our customers and what we actually do. In keeping with Memority tradition, our answers to the AirCyber questionnaire were also particularly appreciated for their accuracy and exhaustive coverage.

Why is this important?

I'm thinking back to recent exchanges with ANSSI experts, who rightly pointed out that certification does not guarantee absolute security. They were right: AirCyber, like ISO 27001, does not claim to offer total invulnerability.

But these certifications do validate something fundamental: Memority is structured, organized and equipped to handle all aspects of information security with rigor, in a logic of continuous improvement. And once again, we are proud to have an external audit firm enthusiastically validate our posture and professionalism.

The benefits are tangible

For the aerospace industry: Our certification facilitates their supplier qualification process. The dozen OEMs involved in the AirCyber program (Airbus, Dassault, Safran, Thales, MBDA, Liebherr-Aerospace...) directly identify us as a player meeting the sector's highest standards.

For all our customers: This validation by a sector as demanding as aeronautics reinforces confidence. When players managing such critical safety issues qualify us at the highest level, it resonates far beyond their industry.

For Memority: This recognition confirms our approach and opens up new business prospects. We are now working with BoostAeroSpace to become one of the trusted solutions recommended to the aerospace community.

What happens next?

This AirCyber Gold certification completes our ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications obtained at the end of 2024. A great collective achievement, but above all a milestone in our continuous improvement process. We are continuing our certification process, with plans for SOC2 type 2 and CSA Star Level 2 over the next few months. We will continue with the same high standards and the same commitment.

A big thank you to the whole Memority team for their involvement, to Advens for the quality of the audit, and to Boost AeroSpace for their support and the quality of the various initiatives they lead for the sector.
